The 2018 hurricane season could be worse than last season, according to experts.
Forecasters are predicting an above-average season with seven expected hurricanes, three of which could be major. 
2017 saw some of the costliest hurricanes in U.S. history. 
There was hurricane Harvey, in Houston, which had a catastrophic impact on the city.
And Hurricane Irma, which ripped through Florida with winds up to 130 mph.
Hurricane Maria slammed Puerto Rico, with deadly consequences leaving thousands still without power.
Researchers say near-record warm sea temperatures contributed to the powerful hurricane season last year.
Hurricane season runs from June through November.
