A family-owned business in Holtsville had $10,000 worth of plants stolen from them Friday night. 
The owner of Cheap Sam’s says thieves cut a hole in his fence and backed up a truck on to his property. 
The owner says “nothing like this has ever happened” in the store’s 30 years in business. 
Suffolk police are looking at the surveillance footage on the property, as well as surrounding businesses.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the Sixth Squad at 631-852-8652
