BAY RIDGE -

A Brooklyn woman who has turned 106 years old says the secret to her longevity is exercise.

Goldie Sohn moved to Brooklyn when she was 14 years old. Fast forward several decades, and she goes to the Shore Hill Neighborhood Center in Bay Ridge four times a week. It's also where she's celebrating her birthday with family and friends.

Sohn says she participates weekly in New York Road Runners Striders sessions to keep her body moving. And aside from working out, she says she enjoys coming to the center to sing, dance and play games with her friends.

"The people, they're warm," she says. "I just love it."

Sohn says she hopes to be back at the center again next year for her 107th birthday.
