THE BRONX -

Bronx Community College hosted the 12th annual Kids Comic Con today, where kids were encouraged to express their own creativity.

The Kids Comic Con is able to differentiate itself from other conventions due to its focus on kids.

The event allows kids to interact with characters like princesses and superheroes, and also includes creativity workshops.

The co-founder tells News 12 that the convention was created 12 years ago, and that they've since been able to take the show around the country and the world.

The event gives new comic artists a special outlet.
