Looking for a night of carnival fun and tasty treats? Then get ready for the return of the Hudson Valley Fair in Wappingers Falls.
Gates opened at 5 p.m. at Dutchess Stadium on Route 9D. The fair promises a lot of good old fashion family fun with rides, magic shows, animals, and, of course, food.
"The fair has a whole new look, new layout, new carnival rides. Brand new shows. We have horses, horses, horses, Robinson's racing pigs, Cow Town USA where children can milk a cow, we have the petting corrals. The magic show has brand new illusions in there," says Lance Gifford, a Hudson Valley Fair official.
Admission is $8 at the gate, and there's also deals for wristbands and tickets online.
The Hudson Valley Fair is open the first three weekends this month.
