Mother's Day is Sunday, and millions of Americans are trying to figure out what to do for their moms.
The National Retail Federation says is expects shoppers to spend about $23.1 billion for the holiday this year.
The group says $2 billion of that will go to flowers, $4.6 billion to jewelry and almost $2 billion more on spa visits for moms.
A recent survey found 29 percent of moms want to receive a "gift of experience," like a spa visit or concert tickets.
Moms who spoke with News 12 said they wanted anything from new cars to family dinner to some peace and quiet.
And for kids without money to spend, moms say you can spend time to make a phone call.
