PARKCHESTER -

A neighborhood reunion brought crowds of people together in Throgs Neck this weekend.

Over 500 former and current residents gathered at the Brewskis Bar and Grill on Saturday for the Parkchester Bronx Reunion.

People who grew up in the neighborhood from the 1950s through the 90s gathered to enjoy food, drinks and memories.

The event was organized by former Parkchester resident Rob Cardone and Brewskis owner Albie Torreson.

News 12 is told that residents came to the reunion from 25 different states, with many saying it was an event that they couldn't miss.

This was the first Parkchester reunion in 15 years and attendees say they hope there is another one in the future.
