Long Islanders came together Sunday to help the family of a National Guard airman who died in a helicopter crash in Iraq.
A fundraiser was held at Hoyt Farm in Commack in honor of Air National Guard Master Sgt. Christopher Raguso.
The member of the 106th Air Rescue Wing in Westhampton Beach was one of seven Americans killed when their chopper crashed in Iraq in March.
Raguso also served as a lieutenant in Commack Fire Department's Company 4 and for the FDNY.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to Raguso's wife and two young daughters.
Organizers plan on making Goose Fest an annual event.
