Flight returns to Newark due to smoking cellphone charger

A United Airlines flight bound for Chicago had to return to Newark Liberty International Airport after a passenger’s cellphone charger started smoking.         
The Port Authority says it happened on board flight 426 around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
Officials say no one was hurt.
The flight eventually made it to Chicago about four hours late.
