THE BRONX -

A Bronx school hosted a speech and hearing disabilities awareness event.

P.S. 25 X held a carnival for the entire school in honor of Better Speech and Hearing Month.

The event featured activities that use speech therapy.

Free audiological screenings, which help address undiagnosed hearing issues, were also offered during the event.

Nearly one in 12 children in the U.S has a communication disorder, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
