The Rulay Lounge Bar & Restaurant in Kingsbridge is run by a former bartender with more than a decade of experience in the Manhattan nightlife scene.

"What we like to bring to the Bronx is what I like going to Manhattan for," says owner Denian Duran.

Named after the Dominican urban word to chill, Rulay is all about upscale relaxation while being inviting.

Rulay's drinks and food have touches of Latin flavor, most evident in its parrilla dish, which is a sharable entree of grilled chicken, churrasco, baby-back ribs, sausage, shrimp and salmon, with a few garnishes and sauces.
