A street fair in Belmont looked to help Bronx residents picture healthier versions of themselves.
St. Barnabas Hospital, the Belmont Business Improvement District, and the office of Councilmember Ritchie Torres hosted the event Sunday.
It featured activities encouraging residents to get healthy and fit including BMI screenings, mammographies, healthy cooking demos, and Zumba and yoga classes.
The Bronx is New York State's least healthy county, coming in 62nd and last place when it comes to health care outcomes.
