Thousands of Muslim worshipers gathered in the Bronx Friday to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.
The holiday marks the end of Ramadan when Muslims fast.
Eid al-Fitr translates to the 'feast of the breaking of the fast'
Muslims have gathered at Claremont Park to celebrate Eid al-Fitr for nearly a decade, some coming from far away for the festivities.
The celebration offered prayers, lectures, games and food.
About 5,000 people were expected to attend the feast throughout the day.
