A Park Slope school won a $3,000 grant to build their own garden.
P53K was the only school in the area to win the Budding Botanist grant to build a garden from scratch.
The school is a special-needs program, so they built a brick pathway with a ramp to make the garden wheelchair-accessible.
The grant came from the Klorane Botanical Foundation.
