People were out putting around in Stamford for a good cause Thursday afternoon.
The 23rd annual Lotstein Martin Gold Tournament was held at the Sterling Farms Golf Course.
The event serves as a fundraiser for Always Reaching for Independence (ARI,) an organization that provides services for adults with developmental disabilities.
“ARI has, like any other organization that provides the same services, been subject to significant cuts year after year from the state, and we are very dependent on state funding,” said ARI President and CEO Susanne Kuligowski. “And so, having events like this is critical to supplementing the revenue.”
The event featured over 80 golfers as well as lunch, dinner and an auction.
