Consumers can now directly order the Tesla Model 3 online. The company is dropping its $1,000 reservation fee in North America in exchange for a minimum $2,500 down payment. The reservation fee was meant to give shoppers time to consider pricing options. The removal of the fee is meant to boost Model 3 sales after months of production delays.

Oprah Winfrey made an undisclosed investment into the health restaurant chain True Food Kitchen. Winfrey will also join the company's board of directors and act as a consultant. True Food Kitchen expects to use the proceeds from Winfrey's investment to double its business over the next three years.

Netflix has scored another big star. Actor, producer and director Jason Bateman has signed a multiyear film and TV deal with Netflix. Bateman starred in Netflix hits "Arrested Development" and "Ozark." The star says he has seen firsthand the company's positive and thriving culture and looks forward to extending the partnership.
