Cyclists were biking 24 miles across five bridges and three boroughs to raise awareness for autism Sunday.
The annual Bridges Ride for Autism is aimed at drawing attention to autism and showing support for the families it affects.
According to Autism Speaks, one in 59 children has autism.
The route started at the lower end of Manhattan and goes through Queens and Brooklyn.
Joe Nobile started this event eight years ago as a way to spread understanding and kick-start research, in honor of his nephew who has autism.
The group says this event has raised more than $100,000 for autism research over the years.
