New fire and rescue building built at MacArthur Airport

A new state-of-the-art fire and rescue building was built at MacArthur Airport.
Rather than cutting a ribbon, officials separated a fire hose outside the 21,000-square-foot facility in Ronkonkoma.
The building is more than double the size of the existing one, has updated technology, and can hold wider and taller trucks.
The old building, which dates back to the 1940s, is just next door.
