Police in Washington State say a New Jersey native is the man responsible for killing his girlfriend, shooting at cars on a busy bridge, then killing himself.
One of the cars carried a father and his two daughters as they drove to take a flight.
They were stopped at a red light when the driver behind him, identified as Krishna Maha-devan Prasad, 20, of New Jersey, started shooting.
The bullets barely missed all of them.
"I was sitting here, leaning slightly over to check the maps on my phone towards the center so I got very, very, very lucky," says the father, Michael Brooks.
Brook’s 5- and 7-year-old daughters were asleep in the backseat.
After firing at the car behind him as well, Prasad killed himself.
