A man suspected of killing a woman he met through the dating app Tinder may have more victims in New York and Connecticut.
Danueal Drayton was arrested last week in a California hotel room after allegedly raping a woman with whom he had shared an Uber ride. He pleaded not guilty Monday to attempted murder and rape charges.
Drayton is also accused of strangling Samantha Stuart in her Queens apartment about two weeks ago after meeting her through Tinder. Ten days earlier, he had been charged with choking and threatening his ex-girlfriend in Inwood, Nassau County. A judge released him without bail.
Drayton reportedly told investigators that he killed at least five other women in New York, including one in Suffolk County, and in Connecticut.
