A Westport restaurant is accused of racial insensitivity over a controversial drink name.
A Facebook user posted a picture of the cocktail menu at 323 Restaurant on Main Street. It included a drink called "The Tuskegee Experiment."
Started in 1932, the experiment was a federal government program in which more than 150 unsuspecting black men were infected with syphilis.
Reaction outside the restaurant on Tuesday was mixed.
The restaurant has since pulled the drink from its cocktail list.
News 12 did not immediately hear back from management.
