Man fatally shot outside Bronx playground

A Bronx man was fatally shot after an argument, police say.

Christopher Pierce, 34, of the Bronx was shot once in the chest and killed. 

The incident happened Monday on Eames Place and Web Avenue around 9 p.m. across the street from a playground, officials say.

Pierce was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A small candlelight vigil stands at the location where Pierce was shot. 

No arrests have been made.
