Rain, wind slam borough during morning commute

PARKCHESTER -

The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for the borough Friday as rain from Michael drenched the region and made for hazardous conditions.

Rain fell overnight and through the morning as Michael moved through the region.

Heavy rainfall lasted until around 7 a.m. and a wind advisory is expected to last until 12 p.m. 

Michael is producing wind gusts and could leave behind localized flooding, News 12 meteorologists say.   

Skies are expected to clear later Friday as cooler and less humid conditions settle into the area.
