New Flatbush mural celebrates borough’s diversity

A new mural in Brooklyn painted by two artists from Argentina celebrates the diversity of the borough.
Ariel Rouco and Augusto Turalles painted the mural for a new development in East Flatbush.
Rouco painted a small private mural years ago for one of the owners of the building, and the owner decided to bring back him for this project.
Turallas said it took hours of brainstorming, “We make like 20 sketches before this finished one.”
