Dozens of union school bus drivers rallied Monday outside of the Pioneer Bus Transportation Corporation in Castle Hill to demand fair wages ahead of Tuesday's negotiations with contractors.

Members of the largest union servicing the city's yellow school bus industry say they've already undertaken 10 negotiations so far. Still, they say wages have been stagnant at $18 an hour for five years and they say it’s just not enough.

Members say they don't want to strike because it would only hurt school kids and families, but they say something has to change.

Negotiations between the union and the contractors are set for Tuesday morning, to be followed by another round next Tuesday.
