Borough President Eric Adams showed his support for local coffee shops run by black owners Tuesday by visiting coffee shops in Bed-Stuy.
Adams visited BKLYN Blend and Brown Butter and talked with the owners about concerns they may have running a small business.
BKLYN Blend opened three years ago and offers healthy food options, while Brown Butter on Tompkins Avenue opened a over a year ago and employs locally.
Adams and business owners say they're reminding customers to order their next cup of coffee at a local shop ahead of Small Business Saturday.
