Brooklyn's Dyker Heights neighborhood draws huge crowds every year for its holiday light displays.
Some homeowners put up the massive scenes themselves; others say they hire professional help to come decorate.
Residents say the best time to head over is from mid-December to New Year's Eve between dusk and ?9 p.m.,? before the lights are usually shut off.
On Friday night, visitors were exploring Dyker Heights Boulevard, along 11th to 13th avenues from 83rd to 86th streets.
Some residents say their electric bill nearly doubles during the holiday season. But they say it's worth it to keep up the tradition.
