SOUNDVIEW -

Police are searching for three young men suspected of participating in a violent robbery inside a house hardware and locksmith store in Soundview earlier this week.

Authorities say the young men walked into 1185 Morrison Ave. around 7 p.m. Monday and pushed a 60-year-old store owner against a wall. One of the suspects then took $100 out of the register while another acted as a lookout.

Two of the suspects were last seen running northbound on Morrison Avenue toward Westchester Avenue while the other was seen running toward Watson Avenue.

No one was hurt during the incident.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the robbery to call police.
