More than 100 firefighters responded to the scene of a fire on the top floor of a Kingsbridge apartment building off the Grand Concourse late Tuesday afternoon.

Three ladder trucks were at the base of the building on East Kingsbridge Road and the Grand Concourse.

Officials say two firefighters and one civilian suffered minor injuries during the incident.

The fire was under control at 5:40 p.m.

It’s not yet known what sparked the fire or how many tenants have been displaced. Emergency crews are helping those who will need to find a place to stay.
