Walmart continues shopping spree with Art.com acquisition

Walmart continues its push into online retail. The mega-retailer has acquired the website Art.com for an undisclosed amount of money. The website is one of the largest online retailers of posters, prints and framing. Walmart has been on an e-commerce buying spree, recently purchasing websites like Moosejaw, Bonobos and Jet.com.

Apple is in talks to purchase an Israeli television show for its upcoming streaming platform. CNBC reports the show would be adapted for the United States, and it is tentatively set to star Richard Gere. The violent shooter show is counter to prior beliefs that Apple had been avoiding controversial content.

Netflix's "Stranger Things" is an homage to the 80s. Now its video game is doing the same thing. "Stranger Things: The Game" will be released next year, and is a throwback to 16-bit computer games. It's being produced by developing studio BonusXP and will be based on the plot of the upcoming third season of the show.
