A new study from Bankrate ranked the best and worst states for drivers, and New Jersey ranked among the worst.
The study factored in cost, safety and driving quality for drivers.
North Dakota took home the top spot. The study found that drivers have the best experience there.
But New Jersey ranked as the fourth worst state for drivers.
California was the worst, Hawaii came in second worst, and Connecticut was third.
