Police: Good Samaritans rescue woman from sinking car

Officials say two good Samaritans are being credited with helping to save a woman who drove into a pond in Smithtown.
In video obtained by News 12 the car can be seen completely submerged in Millers Pond on Maple and Fifth avenues.
According to police, a 60-year-old woman drove the car into the pond just before 6 p.m. Sunday.
Police say two good Samaritans saw it happen and pulled the woman from the sinking car.
The woman was taken to Stony Brook Hospital.
There is no word on her condition or what caused her to lose control.
