Police: Gucci employee stole $50,000 worth of wallets, scarves and handbags

<p>Police say an employee at a Gucci store in Secaucus has been charged with stealing more $50,000 worth of merchandise, including wallets, scarves and handbags.</p>

Police say an employee at a Gucci store in Secaucus has been charged with stealing more $50,000 worth of merchandise, including wallets, scarves and handbags.
According to police, Jerry Almazan, 40, of Jersey City, was arrested earlier this week and charged with theft.
Almazan is accused of robbing the store sometime between October and last Wednesday.
Police say he stole wallets, scarves and handbags.
Almazan is due in Hudson County Superior Court on Jan. 2.
