Community leaders, advocates denounce violence against women

Community leaders and advocates are standing together to denounce violence against women after a Bronx mother was allegedly raped inside of her own home.
Police say a 41-year-old mother of three was raped last week inside of her Pelham Parkway apartment by a masked intruder.
Supporters held a rally Tuesday in support of her and other victims, several blocks from her Cruger Avenue building. Advocates say these types of crimes against women must be stopped.
Last month, police say a 27-year-old woman was forced into a Mott Haven building on Saint Anns Avenue by a stranger who then raped her.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
