Police release new footage of suspect wanted in fatal Westchester Ave. shooting

THE BRONX -

New security footage has been released of a man wanted in connection to Thursday’s fatal shooting on Westchester Avenue.

According to police, the unidentified man was captured by surveillance near the location of the incident, in front of 21-67 Westchester Ave.

Upon arrival, police say they found the unconscious 23-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to his lower back.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where he was pronounced dead.

The individual wanted for questioning was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a dark colored jacket, blue jeans and red shoes.
