Police are searching for a man who allegedly burglarized an apartment in Belmont.

News 12 is told the suspect broke in the building near Cambreleng Avenue and East 188th Street last Sunday around 1:30 a.m.

Police say the suspect entered through the bedroom window and ran off with electronics, jewelry, $20 and a backpack.

They say he was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, black pants, white sneakers, a black backpack and carrying a white television with baseball bat in his hands.
