Authorities say two men sold crack cocaine and heroin and led police on a wild chase that ended in a crash Wednesday in Centereach.
Suffolk police say officers witnessed Steve Jameau, 34, and Anthony Corria, 33, engage in a drug deal Wednesday afternoon in front of 77 North Howell Ave.
When officers tried to pull over the two men in a 2007 Mercedes-Benz on Middle Country Road in Lake Grove, they fled and later crashed into a police vehicle at Ginger and Whispering Pines courts in Centereach, authorities say.
Corria was arrested after the crash, but it took a helicopter and K-9 units to find Jameau, who police say was hiding in a garage.
Prosecutors say both men have extensive criminal histories, including felony convictions.
Neither suspect's attorney would comment on the case after the court appearance.
Both men were held in lieu of $75,000 cash or $150,000 bond. They're due back in court later this month.
