Several fire departments respond to Carle Place blaze

At least five departments responded to a house fire in Carle Place Monday.
The flames broke out on Curtis Avenue, with fire crews receiving the call around 6:30 p.m.
Neighbors say firefighters acted fast once on the scene.
"I was doing my work and then I look outside my window and the fire came right towards our window and got a little on the trees, and I ran downstairs and told everyone to call 911," says neighbor Annelise Berko.
Despite all of the damage, no one was hurt.
