Police say a young boy suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car in Seaford.
According to police, the 12-year-old boy was hit Tuesday afternoon while trying to cross Sunrise Highway at Washington Avenue.
The boy was unconscious when he was rushed to the hospital.
Detectives say there was no criminality involved in the crash.
The 88-year-old driver who hit the child stayed at the scene and is not facing charges.
