A pizzeria in Carroll Gardens is the latest winner in News 12’s Food Fight challenge.
The owner of Francesco's Pizza and his fiancée clutching the win in the ultimate restaurant battle.
“I was surprised that we had that many people out there that love and care for us the way we love and care for them too,” says owner Peter Scali.
Voters say the home cooked meals keep customers coming back again and again.
“I would have a very hungry family if this place was not here,” says customer Debbie Ruiz.
Some of the menu’s top picks are the chicken rollatini, which is spinach, garlic and mozzarella rolled dup into one delicious item.
For meat eaters, the veal is also one of the pizzeria’s best sellers.Of course, the pizza is a favorite among customers.
