THE BRONX -

Police are on the hunt for a woman wanted for throwing bleach at a passenger on the 6 train last week.

News 12 is told the 18-year-old victim got into some type of argument with a woman on the train after she complained  the suspect was sitting too close to her.

That is when police say the suspect opened a bottle of bleach and splashed the victim.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video running from the Hunts Point station after the attack around 4 p.m.

The victim was taken to the hospital where she suffered minor skin irritation and burning.

Police say the suspect is in her late teens or early 20s and was last seen wearing black clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
