Southwest Airlines to accommodate passengers who want to avoid Boeing 737 Max

Southwest Airlines won't make passengers pay extra to switch flights if they want to avoid Boeing's 737 Max. The plane was grounded by aviation regulators worldwide after two crashes killed 340 people. Southwest says if and when the jet returns to service, it will be flexible with passengers who feel uneasy about flying onboard. Southwest is the largest 737 Max operator in the U.S. Boeing recently said it has fixed the software that was implicated in both plane crashes.

Ikea will serve vegan Swedish meatballs. The furniture giant will start rolling out the dish this fall before its global release in 2020. Ikea says it has eight employees working full-time on the vegan meatballs. The chain is ramping up development of plant-based items as diners look for more environmentally sustainable options. Ikea has already sold 7 million of its new veggie hot dog.

Swimming with dolphins may be illegal. U.S. federal officials are in the final review stages of rules that would ban swimming with Hawaiian spinner dolphins. The regulations would create a 50-yard barrier around the mammals. Swimming with these dolphins has fueled a huge tourism industry in Hawaii.
