The Board of Elections says more early voting sites will be added around the Bronx.

It says there will now be 12 early voting sites across the borough, which is five more than what the board originally announced.

Monroe College, Bronx County Courthouse, Mitchell Community College, Bronx River Community College, St. Francis de Chantel, Holy Rosery and St. Anthony's were the original early voting sites announced.

Officials and residents argued that there should be more sites. The Board of Elections then added P.S. 207, P.S. 333, Colombia and Truman high schools, I.S. 174 and J.H.S. 145.

Holy Rosery and Mitchell Community College will no longer be available for early voting.

Mayor Bill de Blasio posted on Twitter that he's happy the Board of Election listened to the concerns of residents. He also says they're only adding 19 sites, which isn't enough for 4.5 million voters.

The early voting sites were created this year to reduce wait times at the polls and give every voter the chance to cast their ballot.
