Bronx mom, DHS worker owns custom sneaker design company

One Bronx mom is a Department of Homeless Services worker by day and an entrepreneur by night.
Erica Villoch is the founder of a company called TaylorsPennys Bling Customs named after her twin daughters, Taylor and Penelope.
Villoch has been working for the city since 2001, but says at night she focuses on her side business of designing custom sneakers.
“I am focused on designing sneakers, which is what I love to do. I actually love to decorate, so if it’s a sneaker, if it’s a home, I’m just in my glory doing these things,” says Villoch.
Villoch says her life is busy with work, her passion and raising her children, but says it is all worth it.
“It’s extremely important for me to give someone for my daughters to look up to, so I want to continue to strive in my business and be a lot more successful. I want to give them a better life and I want them to follow my footsteps,” says Villoch.
