Three people were shot in broad daylight on Sunday in Melrose.

The incident occurred near 166th Street and College Avenue.

Police say a man on a bike shot a 17-year-old boy and a 26-year-old woman in the leg. A young man, also 26, was grazed by a bullet.

Officials say the suspect, who was dressed in a black hoodie, abandoned his bike and fled on foot.

The investigation is still ongoing.
