There's a big mess on a quiet street as a pickup truck has become a dumping ground in the Castle Hill community.
In a row of otherwise unassuming cars parked along Randall Avenue, the truck stands out because of what's piled high inside it.

Some who frequent the stretch between Havemeyer and Zerega avenues say the pickup-turned-dumpster has been there for the last few months. Others say it's been more than two years.

Those who work nearby tell News 12 they have seen employees from the city's Department of Sanitation on site in the past to remove any mess that's made its way onto the surrounding street and sidewalk. Yet, the truck itself, and the trash located in its trunk, have never been touched.

JD Azcona, who owns the Golden Mango supermarket across the street, has a message for whomever the vehicle belongs to.

"I'm not fine with it, but if he needs some help with it, let me know and we'll try to help him out," says Azcona.
