A Norwalk woman is asking for the public's help to solve the case of a man who was fatally shot in front of 100 witnesses 13 years ago.
Laray "Mookie" Moore, 33, was fatally shot in the parking lot at Roodner Court in Norwalk in 2006, with his 15-month-old son in the back seat of the car.
His widow Natacha Moore is asking for help to close this cold case. She is reminding people the $50,000 reward is still being offered for information leading to an arrest of whoever killed Mookie.
"I'm tired of crying, I'm tired of crying because I need to be strong to fight," Natacha Moore says.
She says the shocking part is that more than 100 people witnessed the murder on that hot summer day, but nobody has ever come forward to give police the crucial information they need to solve this murder.
"I'm never going to stop fighting for my husband's justice," says Natacha Moore. "I'm never going to stop looking, I'm never going to stop...You cannot get away with taking a life."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
