Road Trip: Keansburg, smiling faces and good family fun

We asked, you voted -- and one of your most popular "Road Trip" spots in New Jersey is Keansburg.
Hank Gehlhaus is the owner of Keansburg Amusement Park.

“We are the third generation owners here, we've been in business for 116 years, of trying to perfect this thing, and we know what people want,” says Gehlhaus.

Keansburg Amusement Park was founded by the Gehlhaus family in 1904, and 115 years later, it's all about the rides, food, fun, and a good time for the entire family.
“It's a family business, so it's that small town touch, and everyone's super relatable and personable,” says Lindsay Taylor, manager of the park.

Right across from the amusement park is the Runaway Rapids Waterpark, which is a great place to cool off on a hot day.

There's also a lot of history in a place over 100 years old -- the Heidelberg Pub goes back to the 1930s.
