Police: Teenager assaults street vendor during robbery in Fordham

A teenage boy is on the run after assaulting a street vendor during a robbery last month, police say.

A teenage boy is on the run after assaulting a street vendor during a robbery last month, police say.
The incident happened on June 28 close to 5:30 p.m.
Police say the teen, who is between 16 and 18 years old, stole 10 necklaces from the vendor at the corner of East Kingsbridge Road and Jerome Avenue.
They say the jewelry is worth $200.
