The NYPD says they have confiscated speakers in Unionport that were disturbing residents
When News 12 first reported the issue, the group playing the loud music told News 12 he spent thousands of dollars on the equipment and it's a hobby of his.
The 45th Precinct tweeted on Sunday that, "In a joint operation with the 43rd Precinct Non-Commissioned Officers, NCO Boy confiscated these speakers from a vehicle on Waterbury and Seabury Avenue, playing music extremely loud and causing a nuisance to the neighborhood."
Residents in Pelham Bay told News 12 they were able to hear the music from a mile away.
